Past Project - Brent's Office

Nothing new to share today other than the fact that our dishwasher and microwave/range hood were delivered to their waiting spots in the garage.  I thought I would share the most recent project we finished - Brent's office.


Our inspiration was a Pottery Barn catalog page.  
We were able to find most of our accessories in our parents'/grandparents' homes, at Homegoods, Target, antique stores (for cheap!) and other random places.  
Brent worked SO hard on getting the murphy bed done earlier this summer.



One of my favorite high-low pieces was this table we got at Target.com.  The one underneath was listed for $900 bucks (on sale)...


My other favorite aspect of the room is how Brent finished the paneling on the murphy bed with faux cabinet detail and a seamless face frame over all of the bed and bookcases.


Enjoy the photo album!  It shows the work from the studs through decorating.  We only have a touch more of that to do in there...AFTER the kitchen!
