I guess I should have started this two years ago when we first started working on our first house - as soon as we got the keys in January 2010. We immediately saw huge potential in the house that seemed unloved and under-utilized. It has been our labor of love to demonstrate just how much space, style and warmth our home is capable of, with as much of the work done by us as possible with maximum investment in time and elbow grease, and a minimum of cash.
So far we have tackled: our bedroom, the guest room, the bathroom, the upstairs lounge, my office, the walk-in closet, the front porch, the foyer and Brent's office...but starting the kitchen has finally inspired me to really document what we are doing - for our memory as well as a resource for others who are determined to DYI as much as possible! So I will start with our current project, and hopefully add some photos of our past work at some point. We hope you enjoy this journey with us!
I found your pictures. I had to click on your other posts. Your kitchen looks wonderful. Love all those windows. Are you still loving your counter. What kind of edging did you get on your counter. I was going to go with the eased.
