This is actually the first time since our wedding that all six of us have been in the same place. It really is a special occasion, and it's made even more fun by getting to host the gathering in our almost complete kitchen.
My mom's reaction was priceless.
She was speechless! Which rarely happens. We quickly broke out some cocktails and snacks and have been hanging out in the kitchen ever since. Definitely makes all the work feel well worth it!
